"AYCE Korean barbecue can often mean tough meats and one grill change if you’re lucky. But Moohan, our favorite AYCE spot in Koreatown, raises the bar. They offer two price tiers—$40 or $60 per person, both of which include a long list of solid-quality meats, plus access to a surprisingly great hot bar with crunchy fried snacks and Korean street foods like wings, sweet and sour pork, dumplings, and spicy rice cakes. Most of the grilling is DIY, but staff swings by frequently to swap out your grill before you have a chance to ask. As is often the case at AYCE, the marinated meats are the best of the bunch, and the more expensive tier is worth it for premium cuts like short rib, top blade, and rib finger. The bright, modern space has enough seating to host a corporate retreat, which means you can show up on any given night with a big group of hungry friends, order a round of soju cocktails, and prepare for your clothes and hair to smell like smoke for the rest of the night. photo credit: Wonho Frank Lee photo credit: Moohan Korean BBQ photo credit: Moohan Korean BBQ Pause Unmute" - Cathy Park
