Juniper - Review - Forest Park - Birmingham - The Infatuation
"Birmingham’s only gin bar is a boozy garden party. You have groups of well-coiffed ladies giggling over goblets of bright coral spritzes on the lush outdoor patio and couples snuggling close on the suede loveseats inside, stealing sips of the gin-spiked Stormy Daniels martini. There’s even a strong food menu to rein in everyone from the edge, with things like creamy furikake-topped edamame hummus served with crisped pita wedges and platters of duck fat-fried Kennebec potato fries drizzled with a chili aioli. But despite all of Juniper’s English garden refinery, it’s the smashburger oozing with cheddar and special sauce that’s the true hero of this story. Pause Unmute" - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones
