"Sometimes, the best dinner is breakfast. Open City is where you want to be when the desire for french toast hits after 5pm. This well-loved Woodley Park establishment has countless round-the-clock brunch selections, all set against a sprawling café with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The in-house bakery makes everything fresh daily, from croissants and muffins to banana bread and sweet potato cinnamon rolls. Our favorite dishes are the breakfast burrito, spinach and feta quiche, and pecan praline waffle. Coffee drinkers, take note: Refills are $2 each." - Mekita Rivas
