"Gumbo, jambalaya, etoufée, and po’boys are all present and accounted for at Mouton’s Bistro & Bar, Cedar Park’s nod to the Cajun and Creole flavors found on the other side of the Texas-Louisiana border. Mouton’s roadside-saloon vibes fit well with the buzzy energy and bold dishes, and if you visit during weekend brunch, you’ll discover another element that makes Mouton’s NOLA-coded: a live brass band playing jazz standards like you’d hear on the streets of the French Quarter. Tapping your foot along to the tunes while digging into a plate of boudin egg rolls, grits and eggs with Creole gravy, or pain perdu is a great way to start a Sunday.
