"While Namit doesn’t have pork on the menu like most Filipino restaurants in Chicago, this casual North Park spot still has plenty of other dishes that make it a solid breakfast or lunch option. They have tasty made-to-order silog plates, smoky chicken inasal, and street food like BBQ skewers. But if you’re in a hurry, the rice or pancit combo plates with any of the cafeteria-style entrees from the front counter are great. They’re all sitting in steam baths like they’re having a spa day, and we particularly like the tomato-ey caldereta and chicken adobo with quail eggs." - John Ringor
