"The square pan pizzas at Seven Tigers Pie Club taste like they were designed by a mad scientist with a thing for marinara. The tangy, fermented dough at this dinner spot in Koreatown reminds us of a memory foam pillow: light, thick, and springy. A salty blend of cheeses coats each crusty edge and clever toppings include a fun balance of classic and creative, like a whole grilled short rib and al pastor sausage. Seven Tigers is run by the same team as Calic Bagel (and shares the same space, complete with free underground parking and a big shaded, string-lit patio) so we imagine their pizzas will piss off pie pursits as much as their bagels, while being just as delicious. Drop by for a meal with some friends, draft beer, and natural wine before summer’s over." - Nikko Duren
