"In a leafy, residential part of Shepherd’s Bush, this trendy neighbourhood cafe has a bright, light wood and rattan interior. And on sunny days Burnt’s front bench or back garden calls to anyone who likes drinking coffee for the ritual of slowly sipping rather than a functional caffeine kick. You’ll want to spend a few hours here, tucking into their brilliant brunch menu of things like chicken schnitzel with caesar salad. It’s the kind of thing you see on TikTok and think you can make yourself, only to realise Burnt does it better. photo credit: Koray Firat Spiced Buttermilk Chicken Schnitzel, Caesar Salad, Soft Boiled Egg, Parmesan Breadcrumbs In case you haven’t guessed, this place loves fried chicken. And we love their fried chicken too. The schnitzel and salad are the perfect combination of crispy, savoury, and refreshing (hello green beans in the caesar salad sauce).
