"If you’ve spent your life feeling like nobody understands your deep and unrelenting passion for sandwiches, you haven’t been to Sea & Soil yet. Behind the hot pink door, you’ll find retro black-and-white tiled floors, and a counter staffed by people ready to have a detailed discussion about what you should order. The last time we were here they suggested The Lucy, with salty smoked trout and sweet pepper jam, but maybe you’re a better candidate for The Isaac (roast tofu) or The Isabelle (braised pork). Everything at this worker-owned bakery is made in-house, and the sandwiches are sold on a sliding scale ranging from $9-$16.
