"If you’ve lived in Atlanta long enough, you’ve likely had a school field trip, family outing, or some sort of staged photoshoot at Southern Belle Farm. And if you’ve never been, consider picking fruit here a worthy notch on your Metro Atlanta punchcard. The McDonough farm and market is a fun throwback to a simpler life, when peaches came from trees and not carefully stacked mounds in the grocery aisle. And the prices are pretty reasonable, too (a peck of peaches costs less than $23 and a quart of blueberries goes for $9). After you’re satisfied with your fruit haul, hit the bakery for a scoop of the farm's own strawberry ice cream on lightly sweet poundcake. Food Rundown U-Pick Fruits After you pay for a bucket, load it up with as much fruit as you can gather from the fields.
