"Of all the big Korean chicken franchises—Kyochon, Bb.q Chicken, Pelicana, etc.—CM Chicken, short for Choong Man Chicken, flies most under the radar. Despite having 50+ locations across the country, the only local branch of this causal pub is in Gardena, but even if you're not in the South Bay, their unique Snow Onion Chicken is worth a trip. Hulking pieces of bone-in chicken are topped with a huge mound of shaved raw onion, and then smothered in a sweet coleslaw-esque sauce.
