"Watching The Nutcracker on acid at 3pm on a Saturday sounds like something an NYU freshman would propose. So try The Long Island City Ballet’s This 70s Nutcracker instead. It should be an equally psychedelic experience. In this original production, “a young man is transported magically to the Land of Television by his strange relative Chick where he discovers ballet for the first time.” No notes on our end. We’d love to go on that trip." - Neha Talreja
