"Renatos is a casual Italian spot that’s been in The Heights since the ‘50s. It’s not the best Italian or pizza in the area, but the New York-style slices are big, filling, and heavy on toppings. We recommend the Grandma - a simple square pie with mozzarella and lots of tomato - especially if you point to a slice that’s extra charred, which provides some crunch to balance the dough and cheese. Come here solo at 11am or 11pm or whenever you want a quick slice without a wait." - Matt Tervooren
