"There’s no greater morning joy than stumbling out of bed and heading to La Santaneca De La Mission for some breakfast pupuas. This all-day Salvadoran cafe is what we want every Mission diner to be like: welcoming staff, perpetually full cups of coffee, and cheesy pupusas that sell for $3.50 each. We love getting the two pupusas combo with rice and beans for $10, and some of that coffee for a slow start to the morning with a newspaper while pretending the internet doesn’t exist.
