"Dinner atSushi by Scratchusually involves a few months of planning and a hefty check, but the same team just opened a more casual spot on East Sixth Street. Instead of an omakase, this is mostly an à la carte situation (but you can still get an omakase if you're seated at the bar). Order off a paper menu, then enjoy a mix of nigiri, sashimi, and handrolls. They don’t take reservations, and they’re currently open Thursday-Monday." - Nicolai McCrary
