"With all-day hours, dozens of tables, and a knack for never running out of food, Terry Black’s may be the most accessible barbecue joint in town. Diners fill heaving trays with sliced brisket, tender pork ribs bathed in a sticky-sweet glaze, and jalapeño-cheddar sausages packed into snappy casings. Most of the sides are standard fare, but the baked potato salad is cool and creamy, and the blanched green beans are, dare we say, almost healthy—a welcome foil to the rich meats. Use Terry Black’s trio of sauces strategically. Mild and spicy barbecue are great with beef, and there’s a sweet, mustardy option that pairs well with all things pork." - Kevin Gray
