"Shu Jiao Fu Zhou is a small, always busy spot on Grand Street that serves classic Fujianese dumplings, peanut noodles, and soups. It also happens to be one of our favorite restaurants in New York. Sit on a counter stool overlooking the street with a plate of the best dumplings $5 can buy. Both the pork and chive, and chicken and cabbage dumplings have thin, tender skins, and such juicy fillings that they don’t even need dipping sauces. Shu Jiao Fu Zhou also sells bags of frozen dumplings to go—50 will run you $12 and save many future evenings." - willa moore, will hartman
