M Cozy Fusion Cafe - Review - University District - Seattle - The Infatuation

"There are quite a few Seattle brunch spots with interior design inspiration that comes from typing “neutral pinks” into Pinterest. M Cozy in the U District is among them now—but beneath all those pastels are a few bold drinks and snacks. The high-ceilinged Vietnamese cafe gets busy with college students and friend groups catching up over colorful drinks from the folks behind the popular Coffeeholic House. Those caffeinated sugar bombs include a tiramisu egg coffee topped with delicious egg yolk cream you could frost a cake with. Dessert-y food options like the mushy crème brûlée pancakes and dry pandan waffles miss the mark. But the savory food is great, particularly the crispy fish sauce wings and the bánh mì chảo skillet with tangy brown gravy that tastes even better when scooped up with a crusty baguette. If you don’t mind trying to find a good sweet-to-salty balance, this is a great place to fuel up before a lap (or two) around U-Village." - Kayla Sager-Riley
