"You won't see anyone famous on the Armadillo Den stage, but this spacious spot along Menchaca's strip of outdoor bars features local acts on most nights. Some are here often, like the bluegrass group that plays every other Tuesday or the country-rock quartet who are also regulars at Banger's Sausage House and Rustic Tap. On a Friday night, there might be a cover band doing "Brown Eyed Girl." Whatever's happening, this is where you bring a big group that wants to chitchat with music in the background.
