"When you’re in the Mission and need a malty, ring-shaped breakfast, Bageletto gets the job done. The counter-service spot serves solid bagels, sandwiches, and schmears in so many flavors and combinations that the menu almost needs its own scaffolding. Go for the calabrian chili schmear that has a subtle kick, or the Bagel Bite-like pizza version with soppressata and hot honey—it’s just as filling, but with tomato sauce instead of cream cheese. While we wouldn’t make a dedicated trip to Bageletto, their bagels do the trick if you’re nearby. Seating is limited to a couple of outdoor tables, so come with a backup plan for where to eat." - Julia Chen
