"If any restaurant could make you feel like you’re living in a Federico Fellini film, it’d be Roma Sparita. Especially when you’re having lunch outside, beneath umbrellas and checkered tablecloths in a vast, tranquil piazza, devouring bowls of pasta. Their cacio e pepe is made with handmade tagliolini noodles and served perfectly al dente in a shell of crispy pecorino. The real prize, however, is the gnocchi alle vongole, featuring pillows of pasta that soak up all the best bits of the clam sauce. Save a hunk of bread for the ultimate scarpetta." - Annie Replogle
