P3 Annihilation Eve - Review - Ancoats - Manchester - The Infatuation

"P3, a record store, bookstore, bar, and cultural events space by the people behind Salford’s experimental music venue The White Hotel, feels like a cross between a distorted church full of warped religious symbols, and a future alien’s recreation of what it felt like to be human. On a recent daytime visit, the background music veered from opera to Julia Roberts’ Academy Awards acceptance speech. Perhaps the most surprising elements of this Ancoats-outskirts spot are that its enigmatic nature is charming rather than insufferable and that the cocktails, served on doily-lined silver trays, are seriously good.
