Not to be confused with Sweet Spot in Doraville, The Sweet Spot Bakery is located in a Duluth strip mall behind a Chevron and specializes in gourmet cupcakes and cakes, and that’s the reason why you should be here. If you haven’t had their cupcakes before, they will tell you to store them in the refrigerator to preserve their whipped topping. These are light, airy spongy cakes topped with the freshest tasting “not too sweet” cream and butter frosting we’ve ever had. The passionfruit, mango, Thai tea, and pandan are our favorite flavors.
