"Alameda has plenty of old-school breakfast joints serving basic egg plates, which makes Neptune’s a nice change of pace. They’re doing breakfast classics with a Californian-Filipino spin. That means you’ll find big bacon and tater tot-stuffed breakfast burritos, fantastic longanisa and fried chicken silogs, and benedicts with kale. The major caveat is that their breezy dining room and back patio are only open for dine-in Monday to Friday. During the prime Saturday and Sunday brunch days, they do takeout." - Lani Conway
