"Inspired by the Aids Lifecycle, a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to LA, Detroit Vesey’s is community queer space and café that’s focused on all things cycling. They provide secure indoor bike parking, cycling vending machines (filled with supplies like chains, gloves, lube), and lots of food to fuel your ride—think vegan breakfast burritos, fried chicken sandwiches, and wild mushroom bread pudding. But they also throw drag king shows, movie screenings of camp classics, and fun brunches with live musical performances.
