"Take a quick drive to Stonington Borough (the next village over from Mystic) for a meal at this classic bistro that’s been open for over 25 years. The vibes are relaxed and friendly, with regulars at the long wood bar who will be more than happy to tell you what to order. That will change with the seasons, but look for any Stonington scallop dishes, whether they feature duck or spring pea puree with asparagus. The london broil with crispy fries is the best steak we've had for under $30, and the juicy burger comes on a nice seeded bun that our inner eight-year-old craves.
