The 25 Best Restaurants In Mexico City

"Sud 777 in chic Jardines del Pedregal has improved over its 15+ years in existence, reaching the top of the list of “effortlessly cool restaurants that work for any occasion.” The garden-like setting has plants everywhere and lots of stone and leather. It’s the ideal backdrop for memorable dinners, whether you’re on a date and planning to drop a nice chunk of cash or with a group of friends. Their menu of modern Mexican food is seasonal, meat and vegetarian dishes, like slightly seared bluefin tuna with green mole and popcorn. While you can choose their 12(ish)-course tasting menu for about $130 per person, we recommend going a la carte so you can share all the desserts, especially the smoked chocolate cake with almonds and macadamias. It’s a standout that’s always on the menu." - guillaume guevara
