A lot of the food here is like that, partly because these folks make almost everything from scratch. The pork belly and pescadito frito tacos are also great, and they have well-portioned bowls that won’t make you sheepishly beg for an extra scoop of chicken. Bring someone who will gently tell you your face is covered in crema while joining you on another round of margaritas.
