"The chef behind this North Palm Beach pizza spot started out serving NY-style pies from his apartment kitchen to long waitlists. Now, he’s got his own shop with psychedelic pizza art, counter seating, and a handful of tables. They offer slices for anyone dining in, and have some out-there options, like a pickle slice that’s fun to force your picky dad to try. But Leonardi's excels with its minimal slices, like their tomato pie with tiny pops of fried garlic. Those simpler pizzas really let the crust shine. Each slice has enough structure to lift with one hand, but is still soft and chewy. Pizza, wine, and beer are the only things on the menu, and if you’re planning on securing a whole pizza to-go on the weekend, schedule an order a few days in advance. That long waitlist that started in the apartment still shows up on Saturdays for the city's finest slice. photo credit: Maysa Askar / @mamamaysa photo credit: Maysa Askar / @mamamaysa photo credit: Maysa Askar / @mamamaysa Pause Unmute" - Ryan Pfeffer
