"There are quite a few oyster bars in Mystic, but this is the one we find ourselves returning to most often. The menu incorporates a lot of South American flavors with dishes like super fresh halibut ceviche tossed with red pepper and served with crisped-up yuca, warm shrimp and blue corn fritters, and a huge platter of crispy jumbo shrimp, scallops, and cod with fries and coleslaw. And yes, they have local oysters on the half. Make a reservation for the patio—you’ll sit under rows of twinkle lights, eat next to a firepit on chilly nights, and watch boats sail by on the Mystic River." - Tanya Edwards
