Mi Ranchito Salvadoreño

Salvadoran restaurant · West Little Havana

"If Mi Ranchito Salvadoreño were a car, it would probably be breaking Florida’s tinted window laws. This dim Salvadoran spot makes very good pupusas and has typical Salvadoran dishes like sopa de res and pargo frito. But focus on the pupusas. Like their chicharron and queso pupusa, which has equal parts cheese and perfectly salted pork chunks in every bite. The corn tamal is slightly sweet and a lovely closer to a meal here—which won’t cost you more than $15 (drink included). They also make big, meat-filled baleadas for $6.50 that you can order from their cute ventanita while perched on a stool. photo credit: Tasty Planet photo credit: Tasty Planet photo credit: Tasty Planet" - Mariana Trabanino
