We could tell that there were some places that were going to pop up soon, and Lingua Franca was one of those places. It has an incredible patio. It's a great vibe. The staff is incredibly kind. They're really known for their frosty beverages. I tend to not drink alcohol when I do these podcasts because I need to keep the train on the tracks, but it's one of the circumstances when I was definitely tempted to try one of their frozen rosés. I did have a hamburger and it was absolutely delicious. Anytime there's a burger on a menu, if it's my first time at that restaurant, I'm gonna get the burger. I feel like that's a really great litmus test of how good the rest of the food's gonna be. It's a good first item to order to see where they're going with the rest of their menu.”" - brennan carley
