Tokyo Guild Review - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Charging headlong into LA’s battle for sando supremacy, Tokyo Guild is a colorful new Culver City spot featuring a menu of Japanese bar snacks - including four versions of the aforementioned milk-bread sandwiches (five, if you count the “ice cream sando”) - solid beer and sake lists, and cocktails named after rappers. The sandos get points for originality, especially the lunch-only fruit sandwich, though we’ve had better versions at Ototo and Konbi. More straightforward bites, like the savory and tangy takoyaki and the very spicy tonkotsu ramen, are better, and go great with a stein (or two) of Kirin." - James Montgomery
