"Yakitori Nishi is as straightforward as it gets. This wood-filled strip mall spot in Lomita serves traditional yakitori, plus a handful of appetizers like miso soup and braised pork stomach with ponzu. All of the meat skewers (with the exception of pork belly and quail egg) are chicken: thigh, gizzard, heart, chicken meatballs, you name it. Round out your stick-filled meal with a few vegetable skewers on the menu, including eggplant, okra, and shishito pepper.
