"There are now two Avecs, the original in the West Loop, and a brand new location in River North. Both are offering Easter brunch, but with slightly different menus. River North has pastries like a raspberry rose kouign amann, and a variety of dishes like baked french toast with rhubarb compote, and paella with confit chicken thigh. West Loop Avec has cinnamon rolls with brown butter glaze (we can confirm these are delicious) and small plates like shrimp with polenta and a soft egg, bacon-wrapped dates, and sumac-glazed pork belly." - adrian kane
