"Listen, if you wanted to come to Jackson Hole just because it has a cameo in Goodfellas, we’d understand. If you wanted to come to Jackson Hole for the impeccable neon and chrome aesthetic, we’d get that, too. But this classic mid-century joint originally known as the Airline Diner (it’s a 10-minute drive from LaGuardia), has also earned plenty of admirers for its burgers. The massive, juicy seven-ounce patties are available in more than 20 preparations, and they’re all very easy to like. The rest of the food is average diner fare, but between those burgers and the 1950s time-capsule atmosphere—complete with the mini-jukebox on your table—this place is worth a stop on a long layover, or just to nurse a hangover.
