"Located inside the new Hotel California, Blackbird is easily the fanciest restaurant in the Funk Zone. The space has a heavy 1940s art deco aesthetic, but the large windows and outdoor patio keep things light and airy, so you don’t forget you’re a block away from the beach. The menu is a mix of things you see a lot in Santa Barbara (oysters, octopus, citrus on everything), and it’s all fantastic.
