"Jass has real candles, brick walls, and live music in the corner of the dining room. It’s very romantic, but maybe check their music calendar to make sure you’re visiting on a night when there’s live jazz, and not some sort of experimental open mic night. Despite the white tablecloths, Jass isn’t uptight at all. And the Mediterranean food is good too. Definitely order the clay pot of lamb, which comes encased in a dome of delicious brioche that your server will slice open at the table. Live music usually starts around 8:30. That’s a big reason why you’re coming here." - ryan pfeffer, virginia otazo
