Elvis

Wine bar · NoHo

"From the team behind downtown darling Le Dive comes Elvis, a wine bar in a storied NoHo building that used to house Great Jones Cafe. Yes, a bust of Elvis is apparently hiding somewhere around here, but you don’t get to see it inside the bar for legal reasons. Instead, come to drink wine on a stool in front of the big window that looks out onto the cobblestone street. If Le Dive is for sitting outside and gossiping loud enough that people can hear you, Elvis is for telling someone a dirty secret without anyone hearing you at all. When you get peckish, order the artichoke with a mustardy aioli, and the sandwich with peanut butter, bacon, banana, and honey. We promise it's good. photo credit: Liz Clayman" - Willa Moore
