"You need two very important things to eat at this Cuban restaurant. First, cash—they don’t accept cards. Second, bring a monstrous appetite. Portions here feed you for days. Everything is large and excellent, but our favorite dish is the vaca frita. La Viña is also great for breakfast. You’ll notice a giant bottle of vinegar and peppers on your table—pour it on your eggs (or anything). But this place also stands out for its attention to detail and warm hospitality. Even in a city as packed with Cuban restaurants as Hialeah, this is our favorite." - mariana trabanino, virginia otazo, ryan pfeffer

Kush Hialeah

Deli · Hialeah

Kush by Stephens is the exciting combination of Florida's oldest deli and Hialeah's first cocktail bar. They offer classic deli-style sandwiches, such as hand-cut pastrami and corned beef, in an old-school meets new-school setting for dine-in, breakfast, and lunch, as well as catering for all events. The menu highlights deli-classics like Bubbie's Matzoh Ball Soup, Kush Hospitality's Chicken n' Waffles, NY Style Deli Sandwiches, Bagel & Lox Platter, Reuben Sandwiches, and Egg Salad Sandwiches. Stephen's original signage remains, and Henderson "Junior" Biggers, who's been slicing meat for over 60 years, continues to carve the smoked meats. Hungry? Let us satisfy your appetite.
