"At Parcelle, the servers are also sommeliers, and some of them refer to champagne as “champs,” even when it’s from a lesser-known, family-run vineyard. This is, in other words, a cool wine bar, although it’s not the kind of place you pop into for a quick drink. Like the original Lower East Side location, the Greenwich Village Parcelle has no bar, just a decent number of tables spread out across a room with rugs on the floor and sheer curtains on the windows. It’s a nice, mellow place to hang out for an hour or two, while you sample the daily rosé by the glass and pop some salami that tastes like beef jerky.
