"A little further south of most of the stores on Hermosa Ave., Mickey’s is a Hermosa Beach legend. This Italian deli is always busy, with a line of people waiting to order giant sandwiches and pizzas. Those pizzas bear a strong resemblance to New York slices, and they’re pretty good, but the sandwiches are the main event here. They’re solid versions of the classics - the Italian involves all the things a solid Italian sandwich should, and the pastrami deluxe is a true monster.
