"Of the new crop of Hong Kong-style restaurants in Honolulu, Kevin’s Kitchen shines for its banquet options, including shredded chicken and jellyfish salad and roast goose (preorder these dishes 48 hours in advance). But while you’ll see multigenerational celebrations in the evenings here, you’ll also find construction workers and businesspeople fueling up on lunch plates of roast meats and salt-and-pepper tofu all throughout the day. The interior isn’t much—you might have to squeeze into a table facing the wall—but the service is excellent.
