This takeout-only sandwich shop has a short menu of classics, plus housemade sides like potato salad. Get the namesake “alpine,” a classic italian sandwich that’s been on the menu since 1955. It comes on soft, chewy bread and has a complex flavor profile—with a hint of garlic—that gets even better when you add their housemade hot giardiniera.
