"Don’t confuse the fishing nets and wooden helms for kitsch—Kelly’s is the real deal, and has been slinging seafood in the Northeast since 1958. Thanks to the large booths, families celebrating birthdays, and the staff coaching local kids on baseball swings, it feels as homey as it does nautical. There’s a full bar with a few TVs, but most people are in the dining area, downing the menu's standouts: shrimp and scallop linguine in a rich tomato sauce, crispy calamari, and the shrimp cocktail. It’s not the best in town, but if you’re in the neighborhood and want no-fuss seafood in a place with friendly service, it’s a choice we can get behind. video credit: CANDIS R.
