Dromedary: Coming Out

Bar · Bushwick

"Dromedary officially “came out” in 2024, when the bar’s longtime staff took over ownership, and transformed the Bushwick tiki-dive into a queer, community-focused tiki-dive. But they’ve always been a queer-friendly space, as the home of one of NYC’s longest-running drag shows, “Brunch Marks the Spot.” Supreme queens Emi Grate and Nancy Nogood bring looks, lip syncs, and life to the queer bar every Sunday, from 1-4pm. Meanwhile, you can—and should—tip your queens in between bites of your LGB.L.T, Poly Pancakes, or Snatch Hash Bowls (did we mention this is a queer bar?). There’s no cover, but make sure to bring some dollar bills." - Neha Talreja
