ThisBowl - Review - Nomad - New York - The Infatuation

"The bowls at ThisBowl in Nomad are exactly as advertised. You’ll never order the miso salmon bowl and feel like they’ve skimped on the salmon and you’ve been overcharged. (We’re looking at you, Sweetgreen.) The Australian import, with an original NYC location in Noho, is redefining the sad desk lunch, and their bowls, all around $16, are actually really good. Think sushi rice with chili chicken or salmon sashimi, plus enough crunchy vegetables to make you feel like you are doing something really good for your gut. Because of its Nomad address, the crowd leans office-lunch-break, but there’s always at least one person in athleisure, possibly with a small white dog in a stroller. photo credit: Willa Moore photo credit: Willa Moore photo credit: Willa Moore Pause Unmute Food Rundown The O.G. You can build your own bowl, but we don’t recommend it. The folks at ThisBowl have created a line-up of perfectly proportioned bowls. Our favorite is the O.G. with salmon sashimi, a base of sushi rice, and a laundry list of ingredients including seaweed salad, avocado, kale, and roasted sesame dressing. We also like the miso salmon bowl with tamari ponzu sauce." - Willa Moore
