"One of the simple pleasures of summer down the Shore is an early morning bike ride on the boardwalk before the day heats up. (And before you’re technically not supposed to ride bikes on the boardwalk.) In Avalon, the journey comes with a prize at the end: breakfast at Fishin’ Pier Grille. The tiny tacklebox of a restaurant right on the boardwalk serves some of the best breakfast food in town: fluffy three-egg omelets, crispy, perfectly-seasoned home fries, and pancakes so big they nearly flop over the plate they’re served on.
