Okiboru’s rich broth and springy noodles make it a must-visit - Review - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Okiboru is a fast-casual ramen chain from L.A. with multiple locations in Georgia, including this Sandy Springs spot. This isn’t your average fast-casual joint. The noodles taste fresh and have a silky and springy texture to them. The broth, particularly in the Tori Paitan, is so rich you can imagine it simmering for days. Their tsukemen—chewy noodles dipped into a well-seasoned broth—is also delicious, thick, hearty, and a perfect order on days when you just want something comforting. This is the kind of spot to kick back during lunch because it’s never too busy or rowdy. You can zone out over a steaming bowl and forget that weird thing you said to a stranger three years ago that haunts you at 2am. Food Rundown Tori Paitan A creamier take on bone broth with thick, springy noodles that hold onto the rich broth in every bite. This is a flavorful and worthwhile order. Paitan Tsukemen This is great—it has a thicker, almost gravy-like broth with heartier noodles. The tender chunks of chicken effortlessly tear apart with a pull from our chopsticks, and it’s packed with enough seasoning to stand on its own. Shoyu Brussels Crisp with a slight sweetness, like someone took the glossy, caramelized richness of teriyaki and didn’t overdo it. Truffle Garlic Edamame Not terrible, but these edamame could use more seasoning. You can skip. Chicken Okiboru Buns Soft, slightly sweet buns are packed with perfectly seasoned chicken. Get these." - Jacinta Howard
