"East of the Olympic Stadium in Hochelaga, Aube Boulangerie is baking some of the city’s best breads and pastries, with a cozy in-house café for enjoying them. It’s all about the sourdough flavor and technique here, especially in their sesame bread and baguettes. The viennoiseries (with some gluten-free options) are real showstoppers, including a range of croissants, like almond and chocolate, with and without hazelnuts. Aube’s babkas and bostock—a not-often-seen huge slice of brioche topped with almond paste and seasonal fruit—are the stuff dreams are made of.
