"There’s a lot about Muchaaachos that will go over your head unless you’re a die-hard Argentine soccer fan. The North Beach parrilla serves fernet and coke in glasses shaped like the World Cup trophy and the bathroom plays an audio of commentators celebrating historic goals. Unless there is a game going on, the restaurant is oddly quiet for a place that looks like it should constantly be celebrating nail-biting PKs. The parrillada—which comes with ribeye, chorizo, morcilla, mollejas, and vegetables—is a great deal for $90. But the best steak option is the skirt steak with a side of bronzed, skin-on fries. Just be sure to split this with a friend or two so you have room for our favorite dish here, the skirt steak. photo credit: Katie June Burton Skirt Steak Use the fries to mop up the juices from this glistening skirt steak. And ask for a side of spicy chimichurri—it’s free and makes you “Waka Waka” like you just scored a winning goal. photo credit: Mariana Trabanino Flan De Dulce De Leche It’s dulce de leche disguised as flan.
